The next afternoon, Thursday, we headed to the Nevada County Fairgrounds in Grass Valley to see the displays and horse/wagon competitions in the Arena.

The show is opened formally by a 4-up horse and wagon festooned with the American and California flags. |

Alexander's 60th Wedding Anniversary was announced. |
